Data Recovery

ACPC can restore your lost data from many media. It can be lost for many different reasons and an assessment of potential success will be made for free. Depending on the severity of the data loss a quote for recovery will be provided. If no data is recovered there will be no charge.

On-site service. If required ACPC will come to you and attempt recovery of your data without the risk of it leaving your premises or getting lost in the post.

Media Supported:

• Hard Discs (all types and interface, IDE, SCSI, SATA, PATA, mSATA, RAID arrays)
• Solid State Drives (SSD)
• Floppy Discs (3 1/2", even 5 1/4")
• Flash cards (compact flash, SD, xD, memory stick etc.)
• USB media (flash, external drives)
• Any other media - drives and connections can be purchased for any specific job if required.

Data from any system, Windows, Apple Mac, servers and Linux can be recovered.

Generally speaking, ACPC does not offer data recovery for tape backups.

Storage media will be treated forensically. Various software and hardware tools will be used to recover data from simple accidental deletion, data corruption or partition recovery to bad sectors and hardware failure.

If the recovery is beyond our facilities we can recommend the necessary course of action, all work carried out aims to have no affect on the hardware or data integrity allowing further work to be done by others.
